Thanks for stopping by my blog! I live and preach in Tucson, Arizona. I currently labor with the Country Club Road church of Christ in mid-town Tucson. If you would like to visit us or listen to our sermons and Bible classes, you can do so here.

I was born and raised in Oregon, just outside of Portland. I obeyed the Gospel on February 21, 2010, and began preaching around 2014. Since then, my goal has been only to preach the text of the Bible. Nothing more and certainly nothing less.

In my free time I enjoy board games, reading, and disc golf.

Simply A Christian

Religiously I am simply a Christian. I follow what Christ and His Apostles taught in the New Testament. I know that Jesus has all authority (Matthew 28:19-20). He inspired His Apostles to continue on the work after He ascended (cf. John 16:12-15; Luke 10:16). The Apostles recorded Christ’s words and teachings in the New Testament, a perfect guide for life and religion (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3).

Therefore if we stick to the Bible and only the Bible, we will be practicing the same faith that the Apostles did. We will have God’s approval, and that is never a bad thing.

Hence the name “preach the text.” This blog contains my efforts to preach the text of the Bible, nothing more and nothing less.

That’s a little about me. I hope you share my desire to follow no one but Jesus and His word. I hope that you will benefit from the material on this website.
