We Worship an Unchanging God

Every morning I receive in my inbox a verse of the day from the makers of my Bible study software. This morning was Malachi 3:6,

I appreciate that this verse was sent to me on this Lord’s day because it reminded me, and all of us, that we do not worship a philosophy, a system of life, or a particular set of beliefs. No, our worship is to the great unchanging God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. My God and yours. He alone is worth of praise for His love, longsuffering, justice, faithfulness, and the abundant redemption He offers to each and everyone of us.

I pray this morning that you are a member of the Lord’s church. That you are going to assemble with His people to worship Him in spirit and in truth. And if you are not a Christian that you would seek God out, read His word, obey His Gospel, and join with His people in giving honor to His name.

This morning I will be joining the saints at the newly formed Cornielus church of Christ (1110 N. Adair St., Cornelius, OR 97113) for Bible study and worship. If you are in the area we invite you to come (10 AM for Bible Study and 11 AM for Worship).
